As a Literacy Specialist Master’s student, I conducted various research projects. Two of these projects are highlighted below. The first project was a year-long study into the effects of confidence and reading attitudes on reading comprehension. I presented these findings to university staff, students and prospective students. The second project was an author study that highlighted the author’s work and provided classroom instructional implications.
